A pivotal role in a large team.

The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the company by assuming the following responsibilities:  

  • Write and maintain up-to-date technical equipment maintenance files, operating procedures and procedures, intervention preparation files, specifications and technical notes, technical requisitions, purchase requests and various reports.
  • Manage and maintain up-to-date technical and supplier documentation, inventory and computerized CMMS maintenance management system.
  • Prepare and plan preventive maintenance operations and shutdown work.
  • Participate in the installation studies of new equipment or installations, the acceptance of new installed equipment, regulatory visits and contractual meetings of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Analyze and monitor costly malfunctions, intervention reports, maintenance histories, availability of critical equipment, suppliers’ technical offers, budgets entrusted, compliance with maintenance programs and dashboards and alert in the event of drift.
  • Define the list of spare parts to be managed in the store, as well as their management parameters.
  • Receive new items put in stock and certain work initiated by the department.
  • Assist in fault diagnosis, hardware testing and commissioning, use of TI Guide, continuous production improvement, and setting up a TPM organization.
  • Ensure the replacement of the maintenance supervisor in case of absence.

  • Training or experience relevant to the position.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position (asset).
  • Professional-level communication skills, in both French and English.
  • Good analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of analysis and problem-solving tools (Pareto, PDCA, FMEA).
  • General knowledge of industrial maintenance technology.
  • Knowledge of the different mechanical parts.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain constructive professional relationships with the various internal and external functions.
  • Ability to demonstrate respect, autonomy, organization, judgment and rigor.
