A pivotal role in a great team
The successful candidate will contribute to the company’s success by assuming the following responsibilities:
- Maintain multiple sources of data related customs compliance;
- HS Database.
- Certificate or origin information & renewal.
- Prepare ruling requests for customs.
- Actively collaborate with various departments such as purchasing, marketing to ensure conformity of information.
- Work with customs broker for smooth clearance.
- Classify and validate products using HS codes.
- Contribute to various customs improvement and development projects.
- Work closely with the Customs Compliance Specialist to ensure proper export information for all shipments.
On a day-to-day basis, she will work closely with colleagues who share the same goals of of success:
- Chantal Fortin, Customs Compliance Specialist, dedicated and caring.
- Debra-Lyn, Logistics Technician, committed and collaborative.
- Graciela; Logistics Technician, energetic and organized.
- Sylvie Sage, purchaser, knowledgeable and helpful.
- And other motivated colleagues.

To meet this challenge successfully, we’re looking for a person driven by the values of respect, teamwork, commitment and pride, with the following qualifications:
- You have a DEC in transportation logistics or a related discipline.
- You are familiar with the Office Suite.
- You are bilingual. The required level of English is necessary due to regular collaboration with colleagues in Ontario and certain external suppliers.
- You have good priority management skills.
- You are methodical and organized.
- You have the ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with various internal and external functions.
- You’re in complete control in stressful situations.
