A Key Role in a Great Team.

The selected candidate will contribute to the company’s success by taking on the following responsibilities:  

  • Identify, evaluate, and propose opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement of production methods and procedures;
  • Provide technical support to the production and quality teams;
  • Determine various steps, methods, and manufacturing processes;
  • Write documents such as processes, procedures, instructions, and forms;
  • Lead continuous improvement groups;
  • Participate in the design and development of products and manufacturing tools;
  • Stay up to date with regulations, technologies, and organizational trends;
  • Contribute to research, data collection, analysis, improvement, development, and standardization of company processes and tools;
  • Inform and support ambassadors and employees during the implementation of new processes or tools;
  • Ensure follow-up after training to reinforce learning and provide continuous on-site support;
  • Communicate memos and procedure reminders to employees;
  • Maintain control tools after improvement projects;
  • Anticipate and/or identify and report any issues encountered during any phase of a project to the appropriate manager;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who is driven by values of respect, teamwork, commitment, and pride, and who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with software related to methods, continuous improvement, and project management
  • Mastery of the French language
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English (an asset)
  • Demonstrates rigor and organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong priority management skills
  • Good teaching and training skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain constructive professional relationships across departments
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes in the furniture sector
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement techniques and tools used in Lean Six Sigma projects (Kaizen, DMAIC, 5S, TPM, etc.)
  • Yellow Belt LSS certification or other Lean certification (an asset)
